Allow $99 for domain registration, email, and standard hosting.

For most of you, you will be able to get a great little website up and running for around $468.

Expect to be quoted more, for converting photo's to digital format, and for large amounts of data input.

Are there any other costs to consider?
Yes, you still have other costs, related to starting or keeping your web page.

An Internet account is required for access to your email, and for alot of small businesses, hosting of your website. Most of you already have Internet, being used with your line of work, though.

Broadband Internet is recommended where available, If you are not on broadband, and it is available, I recommend that you speak to your ISP about upgrading, or even shop around. Generally, expect to pay around $25 - $40 per month. Set-up fees may be around $70 - $100. Some companies offer free modems and no connection fees.

Hosting of your website may be required, if you experience a large volume of traffic, or if you are unable to host it with your Internet company.

Also, you will require hosting, for supporting your website if you have more technical qualities, such as some webforms, scripts and secure online shopping carts etc.

Hosting starts from around $10 per month, depending on your needs.

Linking your web page to Yellow Pages & White Pages Online. Imagine the amount of people out there who look up your business, and want to know more? Seriously, this is how you will get the most amount of traffic to your site. Do you know that the majority of locals will look for you in the Yellow or White pages online?
